គួរបញ្ជាក់ផងដែរថា ការប្រគុំតន្រ្តីនេះស្ថិតនៅ ភូមិព្រៃរូង‬ ‪ឃុំដំរីពួន‬ ‪‎ស្រុកស្វាយអន្ទរ‬ ‪‎ខេត្តព្រៃវែង‬ ក្រោម​ប្រធានបទៈ វិជា្ជជាទ្រព្យ ដោយមានគោលបំណង​សំខាន់ៗ​ដូចតទៅៈ
១.  បង្កើនទំនាក់ទំនងជាមួយបណ្តាញអង្គការជាដៃគូរ និងអាជ្ញាធរដែនដី
២. ផ្តល់ឳកាស និងលើកទឹកចិត្តដល់ក្រុមកុមារអោយឡើងសំដែង ឬបង្ហាញសមត្ថភាព​របស់ពួក​គេ​
៣. ធ្វើការផ្សព្វផ្សាយអំពីបញ្ហារបស់ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋដែលបាន និងកំពុងជួបប្រទះ នាពេលបច្ចុប្បន្ន
៤. ចូលរួមស្វែងរកដំណោះស្រាយចំពោះបញ្ហាដែលកើតមានឡើងក្នុងភូមិឃុំរបស់ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋ។

លោកអ្នកដែលមានធ្លាប់បានចូលទៅក្នុងស្ថានទូតកុងស៊ុលរបស់អាមេរិកប្រចាំកម្ពុជា ច្បាស់ជាចង់ចូលទៅក្នុងនោះដែរហើយ ដូច្នេះខ្ញុំសូមធ្វើការចែករំលែកទៅកាន់បងប្អូនប្រុសស្រីទាំងអស់អោយបានជ្រាបថា ស្ថានទូតមានបន្ទប់មួយដែលមានឈ្មោះថា IRC ដែលមកពីពាក្យថា Information Resource Center ។ នៅក្នុងបន្ទប់នោះផងដែរ គឺផ្ទុកទៅដោយសៀវភៅជាច្រើនដែលលោកអ្នកអាចអាននៅទីនោះ ឬក៏អាចខ្ចីអានបាន នឹងមានកុំព្យូទ័រអោយប្រើប្រាស់អ៊ីធីណែតទៀតផង ដោយគ្រាន់តែចុះឈ្មោះដើម្បីក្លាយជាសមាជិកប៉ុណ្ណោះ ដូច្នេះ​បងប្អូន​នឹងទទួល​បាន​កាត​សមាជិក​មួយ។​ ​

លើសពីនេះទៀត លោកអ្នក​នឹងត្រូវបាន​អញ្ជើញអោយ​ចូលរួមកម្មវីធីផ្សេងៗ​ដែលរៀប​ចំ​នៅ​ក្នុង​ស្ថាន​ទូត។​​ សរុបសេចក្តីមក ប្រសិនលោកអ្នកចង់ចូលទៅកាន់ទីនោះ លោកអ្នក​គ្រាន់​តែជំរាប​សន្តិសុខដែលយាមកាមនៅស្ថានទូតថា លោកអ្នកចង់ចូលទៅបន្ទប់ IRC ដើម្បីអានសៀវភៅ។ ខ្ញុំសង្ឃឹមថា ព័ត៌មានមួយចំនួនទាំងនេះ នឹងជួយជាប្រយោជន៍សម្រាប់លោកអ្នក និងបងប្អូនទាំងអស់ដែលមានបំណងទៅកាន់ទីនោះ។

Welcome to sister Keat Sreydet, who has arrived in Phnom Penh for few days to get her working mission completion in her organization from October 01st when she and ma girlfriend Ra Thorng arrived in Phnom Penh and then we had the dinner together on that day at Toul Tompong (Russian) Market. However, today is the third day for her to be with her colleagues and us to have some fun together in the whole day. For example, last morning sister Sreydet and Ra Thorng went to visit Kien Svay Resort with other two urban colleagues despite today I felt a bit street when I stay the whole day in my rent house which is in front of the International Book Center (IBC) and PTC Computer Technologies to be surf internet lonely. 

But after that time seemed not to be too long for me to be alone, that's three of us hung out together in the evening somewhere - ate out at Blue Sea Oyster Restaurant, bought the clothes at Night Market and continued to Lucky Mall in order to buy items before we're going back home in Phnom Penh.

In this case, I'd like to strongly admire to my girlfriend that she's kindly helped her friends in need with her pure heart to help without looking for taking advantages from someone. However, some of her friends have done the good things to her, also. Even like this, she used to know few of her friends have drawn the advantages from her from time to time, but since she has known me, I have fought to her bad friends without coming back to do the ugly things to her and me anymore.

Phnom Penh | 01 - 04 October, 2015

In this meaningful end, I just want to express that I mostly never say NO to the people who really needs help from me because I think when the people need help, they will really face the problem or need a hand to do something that they actually couldn't do it. In addition, as the human beings, we shouldn't help the people to only draw the advantage but you have to help the people with pure heart by you are a good and kind person. I recommend you guys to avoid helping of the people by taking the benefits. And another point is, do not respect the people by their high ranked position, so you have to give the warm respect by they are the human beings like you or us.

The Last Speech to All Colleagues 

 

Today I really appreciate your delicious cakes of my last day in Justice Café & Library with some colleagues. I would like to thank for my president Rodolphe Prom, supervisor Chhaya Chhin and all the colleagues everything for today and so far in Justice Café & Library and Destination Justice to have chance working together, and you guys have given me the new lessons and knowledge to learn. Even though the time is exactly shorted for me to be there with you guys but I have really learnt from you guys. 

Thanks you Pich Pisoth, Agathe Timmerman for spending your valuable time together before going to school and going somewhere.

However, I also thanks to other colleagues who were not on my last day to be a part of my work such as Doreen, Phanny, Céline (Abraod), Charlotte (Just Back to France), Lisa with her boyfriend (Somewhere in Cambodia before they are going back to France), and Brother ART (Who works for ECCC).

Last but not least, I would like to thank you brothers and sisters again for being a part of my journey, and I will keep this souvenir in the history of my life forever.

From the Far Distance which not see and meet you guys everyday, I've only wishes for you guys to be good luck, be successful and be healthy to continue smoothly your great work ahead.

I am really happy to be involved with the U.S. Peace Corps in Cambodia to offer me the Certificate of Participation in Takeo, Kep & Kompong Thom province. However, I have never forgotten the Career Advising Services (CAS) which had given me the chance to work with since Dec 2013 to Aug 2014. If I didn't join with CAS Team, I will not obtain this great opportunities to work with Peace Corps as well. I think I got very certificate from Peace Corps in March, 2014.

Some Achievements in 2014

I have succeeded to apply to participate in the Mock ASEAN-China Submit as a journalist, and as a representative in the Youth Mock-Parliament with more than ten organizations, especially with CAMFREL & ERA

I have become a member in AIESEC Phnom Penh, Cambodian Youth Networks, World Youth Alliance

I have been a founder and admin manager of International Relations Cambodia Facebook Page (More than 3000 supporters)

I have created three two blogs and a wordpress’s blog such blog: www.darapeou.blogspot.com / www.irpuc.blogspot.com, and wordpress: www.peoudara.wordpress.com

I have been to Thailand to join the SPARK Conference in the Assumption University, Bangkok I have participated to be a voluntary English teacher to teach primary school students in grade 6 with the Global Peace Foundation .......etc ...............

I am really excited so much yesterday, 01st of July because I was invited to be a guest speaker on "Study & Voluntary work" in Modern Life Program through the National Radio of Kampuchea from 7:00am to 9:00am. ក្លឹបនេះផ្ដល់នូវបរិយាកាសល្អ សំរាប់អ្នកដែលមានបំណងហ្វឹកហាត់ភាសាអង់គ្លេសរបស់ពួកគេ តាមរយៈការពិភាក្សា និងសកម្មភាពផ្សេងៗទៀត។

English Club consists of more than 20 members who meet once a month at the Information Resource Center.
It provides a welcome environment where those who wish to improve their English come together to practice their English through discussion and other activities.
This month topic of discussion is "ASEAN integration." The participants were able to use various vocabulary by discussing on such questions as what opportunities they can gain from other countries in ASEAN, and what ASEAN scholarship they have heard of and if they are interested in applying for that scholarship.

ការប្រកួតបាល់ទាល់រវាងកម្ពុជា-ឡាវ

Today I am extremely excited and wonderful about the football match between Cambodia and Laos at Olympic Stadium of Kingdom of Cambodia on 02 June 2015 with the thousands football lovers! After the matching, the result has issued that Cambodia 01- Laos 01. It is really awesome for my first time to see the football directly at stadium by my owe eyes with dude Sombath after finishing our class. That's amazing!!!!

English Club - Improving Converstion in English, U.S. Embassy

នៅថ្ងៃទី១ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ២០១៥ មជ្ឈមណ្ឌលធនធានព័ត៌មាន របស់ស្ថានទូតអាមេរិក បានស្វាគមន៍ ក្រុមនិស្សិតចំនួន២០នាក ក្នុងកម្មវិធីក្លឹបភាសាអង់គ្លេស។
អ្នកជំនាញភាសាអង់គ្លេស Andrea Echelberger ដឹកនាំកម្មវិធី ក្រោមប្រធានបទ "ការសន្ទនាជាភាសាអង់គ្លេស" ។ អ្នកចូលរួមបានរៀនពីរបៀបបន្តការសន្ទនា ដោយការនិយាយឡើងវិញ និងការប្រើពាក្យសំនួរអង់គ្លេស ដែលផ្តើមដោយព្យញ្ជនៈ WH ។ សកម្មភាពនេះជួយ ដល់អ្នកចូលរួមវ័យក្មេងទាំងនេះ អោយមានទំនុកចិត្ត នៅពេលពិភាក្សាជាភាសាអង់គ្លេស។

សមាជិកក្លឹបភាសាអង់គ្លេស ជួបគ្នាម្តងមួយខែ នៅមជ្ឈមណ្ឌលធនធានពត៌មាន។ វាគឺជាឱកាសមួយ សម្រាប់សិស្សនិស្សិតនិងអ្នកដទៃទៀត ក្នុងការបង្កើនជំនាញភាសាអង់គ្លេសរបស់ពួកគេ។

On June 1, 2015, the Information Resource Center of the U.S. Embassy welcomed a group of 20 university students for the monthly English Club.

English Language Fellow Andrea Echelberger led the group through activities on "Improving Converstion in English". The participants learned how to paraphrase and use WH question words to continue conversations. This activity built confidence in these young participants to engage in dynamic discussion in English.

English Club meets once a month at the Information Resource Center. It is an opportunity for students and others to develop their English skills.

Prey Lang Trip in Presh Vihear 2015

A Long Unforgettable Journey To Prey Lang

Day I : Departure Time 

Tit, Tit, Tit… the sound of our car is ringing and telling us that we’re going to leave to Prey Lang now. I’m so excited and passionate to see great trees and various species especially to see the situation of illegal logging and deforestation in Prey Lang soon. Everyone got to know each other enthusiastically. Of course, it just took us a few minutes to know one another since we have the same interest of loving nature and want to protect it. We never forget taking a selfie !!! Ohhh…some participants had already slept without knowing we’re taking selfie! Look, everyone seems hungry now and yeah, we had breakfast at Skun and lunch at Kampong Thom. Now we’re full and it’s time to continue our long journey. Ohh…we had to buy some food for the three days at Kampong Thom market too. I went to buy too because I want to see people lives there and so on. A few hours later we’re a little bit shock knowing that one of our cars if broken. Oh My Buddha! Please bless us! We had a solution by adding those on the broken car to our existing cars. Actually, it’s a bit crowded now but it’s not bad at all since we brought some singers along with us! We sang and sang and sang happily and hopefully especially the songs about Prey Lang, this makes me feels very delighted and passionate more! We arrive, we arrive, someone screamed out loud! No we not arrive yet, another followed. In fact, it took us almost a full day to reach our home-stayed site. 

Day II III IV : Get into the Forest Get up, get up!!! 

Good morning to the new day of going into the forest. We had breakfast and packed some food for the 3 days and 2 nights in Prey Lang. How did we get into the forest? Actually, we got there by Kor Yun. It’s a new experience of riding it for most of the participant including me. We jumped up and down; up and down…what’s wrong? Nothing wrong! we just jumped up and down because we can’t control our whole weight of riding Kor Yun when it reached the hills. I laughed scarily thinking about safety while feeling that it’s such a great adventure. Along the way, we saw that green is everywhere there. They’re tall but slim trees, many trees that we never see before. Our villagers told us the trees’ names and their uses accordingly with smile on their faces. We heard the great voice of some birds singing, it seems like they all welcome us to Prey Lang. How about the big and big trees? We saw only the base of the big trees. It’s actually a tragedy for that. It would be very great if those big trees still exist! It would be beautiful and peaceful if those big trees still stand in front of us! We felt very disappointed with that especially seeing the best tree types of our Prey Lang such as Beng, Neang Noun…left only their base. Where are their leaves and whole bodies? Who did this ugly thing? Some dirty guys did this, they deserve the bad deed some days. And one of our purpose is to see this and find the solution to protect our Prey Lang too. Our days in Prey Lang were full of joy in challenging a new life in the forest, full of sorrow in seeing our thousand-year-old trees were cut, full of memory in doing all actions with all participants…We won’t stop here, We won’t just go and see by doing nothing. We won’t let those dirty guys do whatever they want. We won’t let Prey Lang be alone and cry. We won’t leave the villagers there hopelessly especially Prey Lang Protectors! We’ll spread this news to the world, we’ll get their attention on Prey Lang, we’ll be there when Prey Lang needs us! So how? There’s only unification, there’s only love, there’s only commitment, there’s only passion can help us. Together we love and protect Prey Lang!

Cambodian Americans Second-generation Post-genocide, Reflect on their Lives, Culture, and History: Strong in the broken places Cambodian and Cambodian Americans generously shared with me reflections on their past, their current lives, and their dreams and visions for the future. What is the legacy for these descendants, the second generation born after Cambodia’s genocide? What is their understanding of their history, their present lives, & their future?
